Most mornings do not start with a ritual. They start with a phone, a delay, and the first decision of the day arriving before you are ready for it.

Somii Day is a strip. It sits on your tongue and dissolves in about fifteen seconds, before the kettle has boiled. No water, no capsule, nothing to swallow, no order in which things have to happen. It fits into the morning you already have rather than asking you to build a better one.

The detail, if you want it.

01

What the B vitamins do

Each strip carries vitamin B5 at 83% of your daily reference intake, B6 at 104% and B12 at 80%. These are the actives with established, authorised nutritional roles, and they are dosed properly rather than dusted in.

  • Pantothenic acid (B5) contributes to normal mental performance.
  • Vitamin B6 contributes to normal psychological function and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
  • Vitamin B12 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to the normal function of the nervous system.

02

60mg of natural caffeine. Roughly a single espresso.

We print the number because you deserve to know it before you buy, and because most morning supplements will not tell you. Alongside it, 10mg of L-theanine and 15mg of citicoline.

03

The Ayurvedic side

Tulsi, ginger and saffron. Tulsi grows by the door of Indian households and has been part of the morning for centuries. Ginger goes into the first drink of the day. Saffron is the one you use sparingly and never waste.

They are in here because this brand was built in an Ayurvedic kitchen before it was built in a lab, and because a formula that draws only from one tradition is only half a formula. Ancient ingredients, modern format. That is the whole thesis, and it is not a story we added afterwards.

04

Why a strip and not a capsule

Because the format is the habit. A supplement only works if you take it, and the honest reason people stop is friction. Fifteen seconds and one deliberate movement survives a bad morning. A bottle on a shelf is a decision you have to make again every single day.

Orange and cinnamon. Thirty strips. One month of mornings.

The questions we actually get

What do the B vitamins actually do?
These are the authorised wordings, and our doses clear the threshold that allows us to use them. Pantothenic acid (B5) contributes to normal mental performance. Vitamin B6 contributes to normal psychological function and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Vitamin B12 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to the normal function of the nervous system. Per strip: B5 at 83% NRV, B6 at 104%, B12 at 80%.
Why a strip and not a capsule?
Because every supplement you have given up on had a step in it. Water to fetch, a scoop to find, a lid to put back. The strip has not got a step.
I will forget. I always forget.
So leave it out. It is nice enough to sit next to the kettle, and that is most of the reason people keep taking it. Nothing works from inside a cupboard.
How much caffeine is in it?
60mg per strip, from green tea. Roughly two thirds of a filter coffee. Not recommended for children or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
What does it taste like?
Orange and cinnamon, and then nothing, because it is gone in about fifteen seconds.
Can I take it with other things?
Do not exceed two strips per day across the Somii range. If you take medication or are under medical supervision, speak to your doctor first.
